At Rack King we can design and construct the best drive in pallet racking system that suits the requirements of your business. Our pallet racking is manufactured in the eu.

Drive-in pallet racking is a storage system designed for high-density, bulk storage, maximizing space utilization in warehouses by allowing forklifts to drive into the racking structure to load and unload pallets. It works on a “first-in, last-out” (FILO) basis, where the last pallet placed in a lane is the first one to be removed. This system is particularly suitable for storing large quantities of the same product, where immediate access to every pallet is not critical.

High-Density Storage:

Drive-in racking significantly increases storage capacity by minimizing the space dedicated to aisles. Forklifts drive directly into the racking structure, eliminating the need for traditional aisles.

FILO (First-In, Last-Out):

Pallets are loaded and unloaded from the same side of the rack. This means the last pallet placed in a lane will be the first one removed.

Space Efficiency:

By eliminating traditional aisles, drive-in racking can free up a significant amount of floor space, potentially increasing storage capacity by up to 90% compared to conventional pallet racking systems.

Forklift Access:

Forklifts enter the racking structure, driving into the lanes to place or retrieve pallets on rails.

Structural Integrity:

Drive-in racking systems require robust construction to handle the weight of pallets and the movement of forklifts within the structure.

Reduced Selectivity:

Due to the FILO principle, drive-in racking systems offer lower selectivity compared to other racking systems like selective racking. This means that accessing a specific pallet in the middle of a lane requires removing the pallets in front of it.
